The Foothills Chapter of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association is a group of bird dog enthusiasts focused on the foothills region of North Carolina. 


About Our Club

The Foothills Chapter was created with focus on training versatile hunting dogs in the foothills region of North Carolina. We are proud to offer a training day each month at a variety of locations across the western half of North Carolina, along with hosting NAVHDA tests and youth programs.

Membership is required to attend training days. You may attend up to one training day prior to dues being paid. Chapter Members must also belong to NAVHDA International.

In order to become a member, please fill out the membership application (Google Form) to the left. It will automatically be updated to our membership list. Once completed, please send your Venmo or check to the addresses below.

Throughout the year our chapter hosts training days at a variety of locations across the western half of North Carolina. These dates are predominantly on the 3rd weekend of the month. Please check our Facebook page for current dates. Whether you are totally new to bird dogs or a seasoned veteran, we would love to have you join us!
